John Sarrett brings a thoughtful, integrity-driven approach to mortgage lending, entering his sixth year as a licensed Loan Officer after earning his license in 2020. With more than two decades of experience as a financial advisor, John views mortgage lending as a natural extension of helping clients make smart, well-informed decisions around one of their most significant investments, their home.

John is especially passionate about navigating complex transactions, securing the best possible outcomes, and delivering high-quality service grounded in transparency and trust. His ability to connect long-term financial strategy with home financing allows clients to feel confident at every step of the process.

He is married to his wife Valerie, a dental hygienist and fellow golf enthusiast, and together they share their home with an ever-growing collection of cats four indoor cats (Opie, Dawson, Daisy, and Otis) and one outdoor cat who found her way to the family a few summers ago.

Outside of work, John enjoys culinary arts and entertaining at home, as well as participating in both social and competitive golf events. A graduate of the University of Richmond, John previously spent 18 years as a PGA professional managing golf operations throughout the Mid-Atlantic region. He currently serves on the Board of Directors at Meadowbrook Country Club and has held leadership roles including Past President of the Briarwood Neighborhood Association and Past Board Member of the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Central Virginia.
